Australia is a support organisation for people with thyroid conditions as well as
their families and their friends.
Thyroid
Australia is a voluntary organisation whose founding members have suffered or
been affected by various thyroid conditions and who wish to help others in similar situations.
The
aims of Thyroid Australia are to:
Provide
personal support, counselling and advice;
Provide information
and training;
Raise awareness of and
interest in thyroid conditions;
Provide advocacy on
behalf of thyroid sufferers with government and the medical
and paramedical professions; and
